The National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) recently released the revised Technical Evaluation Guidelines for Medical Surgical Masks. The new guideline tightens requirements for key metrics including Bacterial Filtration Efficiency (BFE), fit testing methods and breathing resistance.
For the first time, the revised version recommends incorporating "fit self-checks" into routine quality control systems, raising execution standards for production equipment and quality management processes.
BORUI's R&D Center has already upgraded the corresponding processes and inspection workflows, ensuring that all medical surgical masks currently in market meet the full requirements of the new guideline.
